ShofCorp is a TRACS Service Bureau that does the transmission of TRACS data to HUD’s TRACS system for our Clients. Currently, we are the only Service Bureau that has a compliance website where Customers can enter and print their 50059s, notices and monthly vouchers, and we transmit all required data to TRACS. A Rent Roll, a waiting list, and several reports are available on the website. We also provide feedback on TRACS voucher messages and repair TRACS if the compliance percentage drops below the HUD-determined threshold, currently 90%. Special Claims can be processed by faxing a one-page Special Claims info form to us, and we are working to get that on the web as well.
Although we assume staff has been or will be trained in HUD Occupancy per the Handbook 4350.3, we do answer basic questions on compliance issues as part of our service.
ShofCorp has been in business since 1985 and currently has over 400 projects in 30 states, and we work with over 40 different Performance-Based Contract Administrators. We have contacts on the TRACS Team at HUD in Washington DC as well as CGI, ICAP, EPS Inc. and other Contract Administrators, and years of experience getting our customers paid through this system.
